“In the beginning by the Firstborn, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” – Genesis 1:1-2

A while back we had a young adults retreat with Dev in the month of June. During that time we briefly touched on the topic of Trinity (Amazing stuff) and in the message, the preacher threw out a question to us. “If we ditched the concept of Trinity, how would that affect our Christian lives?” So now I throw the same question to you! What will be your answer?
The Trinity: One God who eternally exists as three distinct equal persons, Father, Son, and Spirit, who are each fully and equally God
We only have ONE TRUE GOD 🙂
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent – John 17:3
GOD THE FATHER IS GOD
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead – 1 Peter 1:3
GOD THE SON, JESUS, IS GOD
Of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen – Romans 9:5
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God” – Acts 5:3-4
The gospel of salvation is Trinitarian! The gospel which we, Christians, hold so dear to us, center and build our lives on is Trinitarian! Because our God, the God who reached out to us while we were yet sinners, is Trinitarian! In Love, God the Father predestined for God the Son, Jesus, to come into history and time to die for our sins and rise again on the third day and for the Holy Spirit to come into us to sanctify us and to become our guarantee of inheritance (Eph1:14) Our entire Christian life is Trinitarian! By the Holy Spirit through Jesus to the Father!
What if we ditch the concept of the Trinity? Then we are worshiping the wrong god! Let us then worship God for who He is 🙂 in the name (ONE NAME) of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is life! He leads a FULL life because of the relationship between the trinity and we are called to lead such full lives as well! We are called to lead Trinitarian lives 🙂
That’s that life!
